We Use Lithium
Lead-acid batteries are known for their relatively short lifespan and heavy weight. Additionally, they can only be discharged to 50% of their capacity without risking damage. In contrast, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries offer a much longer lifespan and can be discharged completely without any negative impact on the battery's performance. They are also much safer to use and handle. This is why we choose to use LiFePO4 batteries in our solar systems.
